About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Dnavetcare in South West London.

Our practice delivers exceptional care and service to pets while creating a warm environment for teams, patients, and their owners.

As a key member of our team, you will be the first point of contact for clients, greeting them and assisting with scheduling appointments, inquiries, and general support.

This is a Full-Time position working 40 hours per week over 5 days.

Your responsibilities could include:

  • Welcoming clients and pets upon arrival
  • Booking appointments on RX Works diary
  • Helping promote our Healthcare Plan for pets
  • Booking follow-up appointments after consultation
  • Assisting Vet and Nurse team with queries
  • Managing paperwork for digital records
  • Liaising with clients regarding booking and medication collection
  • Ordering food and medication
  • Processing payments after treatment
  • Handling finance application processing
  • Managing a busy reception desk

About You

Ideally, you have:

  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or similar customer-facing role in Veterinary Industry
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine love for animals and commitment to outstanding client service
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software

Cuddling pets is essential. Pets are central to our teams' values.

The salary range is £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
