About the Role

Rivelin Robotics is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to join our team in Sheffield, UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing our software platform, which provides business insights, operational telemetry, and raw data for our autonomous robots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead a cloud-based deployment strategy to ensure scalability and reliability
  • Design and implement new features to speed up development, including writing automated tests to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Review and improve the safety and security of our codebase, leveraging infrastructure-as-code and DevOps techniques
  • Design and implement a massive data store and machine learning pipeline to support our CV/AI team
  • Integrate, optimize, debug, and deploy state-of-the-art algorithms and methods to drive our autonomous robots

Requirements:

  • Significant experience building automated cloud management systems using Terraform, CDK, or similar
  • Experience with cloud-scale data management tools and distributed data capture
  • Experience with cloud services for identity management and user authentication, as well as software licensing solutions
  • Experience creating at least one data management platform or machine learning pipeline
  • Desirable: experience with point-cloud feature extraction
