About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse Assessor with Maximus, you will play a vital role in helping individuals navigate the benefits system. Your clinical expertise and communication skills will be essential in conducting assessments to determine eligibility for benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals' disabilities or health conditions to understand their impact on daily life.
  • Produce accurate and comprehensive reports to support benefit claims.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to manage caseloads and deliver high-quality services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their unique needs and circumstances.

Requirements

  • NMC registered nurse with 1 year's broad post-registration experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health.
