Connect Appointments is seeking a reliable candidate to work as a Food Production Operative with one of our Shotts-based food production clients.

Key benefits of this role include:

  • Monday to Friday, 14:00 to 22:00 working hours
  • Competitive hourly rate of £12, rising to £13.80 from 8pm
  • Overtime paid up to £27.60 per hour
  • All breaks are paid

As a Food Production Operative, your duties will include:

  • Cleaning production machinery and maintaining a clean environment
  • Maintaining proper housekeeping in the production area
  • Cleaning utensils and other equipment
  • Maintaining cleaning supply stocks
  • Performing general production duties as required
  • Hand packing products
  • Quality checking against food regulations

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment. You must be able to follow instructions, have good attention to detail, and strong time-keeping and organisational skills.
