We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Dine Contract Catering. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
  • Operate a cash register and process customer transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the bar area and surrounding areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Learn about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques.
  • Check and report any maintenance needs for brewing equipment.
  • Represent Dine Contract Catering and maintain a positive brand image.
  • Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • Availability to work during peak periods, including holidays and special events.
