AV Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AV Project Manager to join our team at Rafferty Resourcing. As an AV Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing AV projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage AV projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including risk and method statements, project delivery plans, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Oversee and schedule installation and maintenance work completed by engineering teams, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial stability and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance with all main contract conditions, providing clients with the highest level of satisfaction.
  • Manage and supervise all aspects of the project, including on-site supervision of engineering, programming, and third-party contractors.
  • Produce regular project reports, highlighting potential risks and issues, and managing them before escalation to ensure project success.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an AV Project Manager or similar role, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of AV systems integration, including IP networks and existing IT systems.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage project implementation teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, external consultants, and project consultants.
  • Industry accreditation, such as Infocomm or Cedia, is highly desirable.
