**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver C+E to join our team in Bedford. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the UK with our luxurious and modern fleet.

**Salary & Benefits**

We offer a competitive salary of £41,000 per annum, plus overtime guaranteed. Our benefits package includes holiday pay, SSP, parental leave, workplace pension, weekly payroll, and employee assistance wellbeing programme.

**Job Description**

The successful candidate will have a valid C+E entitlement on their driving licence, a valid UK CPC card, and a maximum of 6 penalties (No DD, DR or IN endorsements). They will also possess right to work documentation and English language skills for safety.

As an experienced driver, you will be responsible for drop/swapping trailers within our network, working with box trailers both single and double deckers. You will start and end your day at our Bedford Depot, averaging 8-12 hour shifts with 9 hour shifts on average.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 6 months provable commercial experience
  • Valid C+E entitlement on driving licence
  • Valid UK CPC card
  • Valid UK Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 penalty points
  • Right to work documentation
  • English language skills for safety
