Senior Financial Administrator

Accountancy Recruit is partnering with a global software technology provider to fill a Senior Accounts Assistant position at their global head office in Bury St Edmunds. The company is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a skilled professional to join their finance team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial records and transactions using QuickBooks
- Support the Sales Team with contract management and customer onboarding
- Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure accurate asset tracking
- Process supplier invoices, credit control, and customer queries
- Prepare payment runs, reconcile credit and debit cards, and manage petty cash
- Process staff expenses, file finance documents, and match expenses with projects
- Assist with audits, manage the fixed asset and subscriptions register, and ensure IT and staff equipment are properly tagged and tracked
- Provide support for internal teams, including contract management and utility contract renewal
- Understanding of accounting systems and creditors
- Experience with Excel spreadsheets and Google Sheets
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a small finance team and collaborate with colleagues
- Confident in highlighting process issues and suggesting improvements
- Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
