Lead Salesforce Solution Architect

The Lead Salesforce Solution Architect will be responsible for overseeing the technology roadmaps for our business-critical Omnichannel eCommerce solutions. They will collaborate with our chosen implementation partners to identify how technology can meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement end-to-end designs for Currys' Omnichannel eCommerce solutions
  2. Lead a team of solution architects in designing solutions for one of our strategic programmes
  3. Develop and implement personal development plans for direct reports
  4. Nurture and grow in-house architectural talent
  5. Understand business and IT requirements and create solution architecture documents that clearly articulate what needs to be done
  6. Ensure that all solution architectures or architectural increments are aligned to the target enterprise architecture, standards, and principles
  7. Assist and own the design and documentation of all detailed design
  8. Gather and analyze data to support assessments and recommendations

Required Skills & Experience:

  1. Must have had the role as a Lead Solution Architect in an eCommerce environment
  2. Must have extensive Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Service Cloud experience
  3. Must have experience of working in an API First space
  4. An understanding of Azure cloud hosting
  5. Exposure to MuleSoft or similar integration platforms as well as legacy integration methods
  6. Excellent communication skills
  7. Worked in complex IT environment and fast-paced delivery
  8. Must be able to demonstrate ability to deal with uncertainty and deliver pragmatic solutions
  9. Full SDLC experience in both Agile & Waterfall environments
