Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Team Leader to join our team at Charles Taylor UK Claims Management. As a Claims Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of claims handlers and ensuring that claims are handled efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of a multi-class DA claims team
- Implementation and adherence of efficient DA claims handling policies, procedures, and controls
- Training and mentoring junior members of the team
- Monthly production of financial and KPI reporting
- Onboarding new clients
- Attending client service meetings and reporting on performance and providing trend analysis
Requirements
- 5 years' claims experience in either a TPA or underwriter in EL/PL
- 2 years' supervisory/team leader experience of a DA claims team
- A-level education
- Comfortable learning bespoke IT systems and working in an electronic/paper-free environment
- Attention to detail
- Accuracy in recording information
- Numerate
- Good communication skills/team player
- Customer-centric - putting clients at the heart of everything you do
