Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Team Leader to join our team at Charles Taylor UK Claims Management. As a Claims Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of claims handlers and ensuring that claims are handled efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of a multi-class DA claims team
  • Implementation and adherence of efficient DA claims handling policies, procedures, and controls
  • Training and mentoring junior members of the team
  • Monthly production of financial and KPI reporting
  • Onboarding new clients
  • Attending client service meetings and reporting on performance and providing trend analysis

Requirements

  • 5 years' claims experience in either a TPA or underwriter in EL/PL
  • 2 years' supervisory/team leader experience of a DA claims team
  • A-level education
  • Comfortable learning bespoke IT systems and working in an electronic/paper-free environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Accuracy in recording information
  • Numerate
  • Good communication skills/team player
  • Customer-centric - putting clients at the heart of everything you do
