As a key member of our client's team, we are seeking a highly skilled and organized Maintenance Engineering Lead to join them during this exciting period of growth.

Lead Maintenance Engineer Role:

The successful candidate will report to the Facility & Communications Manager and be responsible for supporting the production team on the floor and working with the management team to plan, purchase, and develop the existing and new facility.

  • Ensuring compliance with all regulation requirements, licensing conditions, and records of maintenance both PPM and reactive.
  • Conducting daily checks of plants, equipment, and fabric to provide a safe environment for food production.
  • Performing monthly PPM checks and planned maintenance routines.
  • Managing the project of purchasing new machinery – ordering, lead times, transition, and fitting.
  • Providing training and guidance to the production team on all machinery, basic maintenance, and changeovers.
  • Maintaining equipment to provide safe and efficient production, adhering to all HSE regulations/policies.
  • Minimizing production downtime by attending to machinery faults.
  • Working towards maximizing efficiencies through machinery maintenance, processes, and new equipment.
  • Managing and participating in the machines and process failure analysis.
  • Able to analyze data and drive decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of HACCP/SALSA/BRC and/or other food accreditation.
  • Food safety and allergen awareness.
  • Computer literate.
  • UK Driving License.
