Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Meteorological Consultant/Weather Forecasting Specialist to join our team in Aberdeen. As a key member of our forecasting team, you will be responsible for producing and delivering accurate weather forecasts to our clients in the offshore sector.
About the RoleThis role involves working in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and nights. You will be a point of contact for our clients, providing meteorological consultations and business risk assessments to support their decision-making processes.
- Forecasting: Produce and deliver timely and accurate weather forecasts to our key clients in the offshore sector.
- Observation Monitoring: Monitor outstanding weather forecasts against actual observation data and update forecasts as required.
- Meteorological Consultations: Provide expert advice and guidance to our clients on meteorological matters and business risk assessments.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of meteorology and experience in weather forecasting. You should also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and communicate complex information to clients.
What We OfferIn return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits.
