{"The Opportunity": "We are seeking a highly skilled Vessel Accountant to join our team at Hutcheon Mearns Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the financial provisions of our vessels, including budgeting and forecasting. Your expertise will be essential in providing daily support to our Vessel Superintendents and preparing detailed monthly management accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the timely provision of all financial provisions, including budgeting and forecasting for the vessels assigned to you.
* Provide daily support to the Vessel Superintendents in relation to vessel finances.
* Prepare detailed monthly management accounts.
* Identify and report variances / areas of concern to Vessel Superintendents and Fleet Accountants.
* Upload and review forecast results.
* Identify and report sensitivities to Fleet Accountants.
* Prepare Annual Budgets and input to 5 Year Plan.
* Capex reporting.
* Cash flow analysis.

Requirements:

* Experienced finance professional with a good working knowledge of SAP and Excel.
* Exposure to Business Finance Capital would be beneficial but not essential.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
