Contact Resolution Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic individual to join our team as a Contact Officer. As a key member of our Contact Resolution Centre, you will play a critical role in responding to emergency and non-emergency calls within Devon and Cornwall.

• Handle calls professionally with empathy and patience, listening to vital details and asking the right questions to log information quickly and accurately.
• Be part of a wide team with extensive training and ongoing support provided.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide help and support to the community.
• Be flexible and open to working shifts, including nights, weekends, and some bank holidays.

You will undergo comprehensive training, including an initial 6-week course at Police Headquarters, followed by on-the-job training and support from a dedicated tutor. You will also have access to ongoing development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
