About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MOT Tester to join our team at Halfords, the UK's leading retailer of motoring and cycling products and services. As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for conducting thorough and accurate vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with UK regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans, and motorcycles
  • Inspect vehicles to identify any defects or issues that may affect their safety or roadworthiness
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify and diagnose any problems with a vehicle's systems
  • Provide clear and concise reports to customers on the results of the MOT test
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that all vehicles are tested efficiently and to a high standard

Requirements
  • Current MOT Testing Licence
  • Full driving licence with less than 9 points
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
