About the Role:

Hedgehog Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistant to join our team at our nursery and preschool in Surrey. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality childcare and education to our young students.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe, secure, and caring environment for the well-being of the children.
  • Assist in daily and individual planning, ensuring a positive and happy learning environment that offers choice, independence, and a range of experiences.
  • Support the Nursery Management in all aspects of providing day-to-day high-quality childcare.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
  • Qualification to Level 2, 3, or equivalent in childcare (desirable).
  • Good working knowledge of the EYFS Early Years Foundation Stages (desirable).
