We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Music Educator to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As a Music Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality music education to our students, working closely with the Director of Music to develop and implement engaging lesson plans.
Key Responsibilities- Teach music to students in Key Stages 3/4, catering to a range of abilities
- Develop and deliver lesson plans that promote student engagement and academic progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver music programs that meet the needs of all students
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Relevant degree in Music or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Proven experience in teaching music to students in Key Stages 3/4
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
