Concierge Role at Royal Lancaster London Hotel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concierge to join our team at the Royal Lancaster London Hotel. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the work of the Front of House Luggage Porters and Doormen to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.
  • Assist in departmental training of new team members and ensure all relevant system usage and hotel standards are explained.
  • Provide guests with information on city maps, directories, restaurants, shops, in-house services, and daily functions.
  • Handle groups, organize porterage and room drops, VIPs, return guests, and establish rapport with frequent visitors.
  • Maintain effective systems for safekeeping, pick-up, and delivering guest mail, parcels, stored gifts, and messages.

Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of hotel operations, including systems - Opera PMS & Alice.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week on a shift rota.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
