Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Professional to join our team in supporting the development and growth of distributor networks within the scientific instrumentation environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in selling complex engineered solutions and possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with scientists and engineers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow within a fast-paced organisation that prioritises innovation and customer satisfaction.

The position involves handling sales enquiries from emails and phone calls, generating detailed technical responses, and developing relationships with key customers and distributors.

A background or knowledge of microscopy, spectroscopy, or other analytical techniques would be advantageous.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling sales enquiries and providing timely responses
  • Generating detailed technical responses and quotations as required
  • Developing and managing business relationships with assigned distributors and customers
  • Identifying business needs and providing product training for distributors
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key customers and distributors
  • Creating new sales opportunities and converting them into sales

Skills and qualifications required:

  • Experience in selling scientific laboratory products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-organised and self-disciplined with a result-oriented approach
  • Familiarity with CRM systems

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum based on experience.
