About the Role

We are seeking a mid-level lawyer with proven experience in leveraged and/or infrastructure finance to join our team at Clifford Chance. As a member of our General Finance practice, you will be responsible for delivering advice to a wide range of clients, including banks, financial institutions, corporates, and private equity funds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting legal documents clearly and concisely
  • Creating solutions using legal knowledge and effective research techniques
  • Challenging and testing advice against legal compliance and risks
  • Staying up-to-date with legal knowledge and technical expertise
  • Utilizing client focus initiatives to drive understanding and monitor service levels
  • Engaging with knowledge resources and collaborating in knowledge initiatives
  • Managing matters with a disciplined practice, including timely timesheet submission and adherence to matter opening and conflicts clearance processes
  • Adopting best delivery tools, such as templates, Legal Support Centre, Resource Management, Legal Project Managers, and Matter Balance Reports

About You

We are looking for a lawyer with outstanding academic history and proven first-rate legal skills, combined with a strong reputation amongst clients for providing commercial solutions, excellent transactional and management skills. You should be able to demonstrate excellent document drafting skills, strong communication and analytical skills, and a high level of commercial awareness. Experience of collaborating with multi-jurisdictional and multi-disciplinary teams is essential.
