Accreditation Officer

About the Role:

The Architects Registration Board is seeking a highly skilled Accreditation Officer to join our Qualifications Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in delivering a rigorous cycle of quality assurance for educational standards and the prescription of qualifications required to become an architect in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing applications for prescription from a variety of institutions
• Drafting comprehensive advisory notes
• Seeking clarifications from schools and presenting decision-critical papers to the Board for approval
• Contributing to the continuous improvement and development of the prescription process and our workflow systems

Requirements:

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report complex data
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to confidently present evidence-based assessments and support conclusions on paper and in discussions with peers, senior management and external partners
• Team player with the ability to work on your own initiative and deliver work to strict deadlines
• Experience of working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels
