We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Youth Work Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering and developing youth work sessions as part of the Young Tower Hamlets Universal Safe Spaces offer.

The successful candidate will have experience of engaging with young people individually or in groups, and will be able to develop positive relationships with them. They will also have the ability to develop and deliver group work activities, workshops, and trips that facilitate young people's holistic development.

This is a practical role with primary focus on face-to-face engagement and participation with young people. The successful candidate will be required to establish, develop, and maintain positive relationships with young people accessing the Young Tower Hamlets Universal Safe Spaces offer.

What You'll Do
  • Deliver and develop youth work sessions for young people as part of the Young Tower Hamlets Universal Safe Spaces offer
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive relationships with young people accessing the Young Tower Hamlets Universal Safe Spaces offer
  • Effectively engage with young people through one-to-one conversations and group work activities
  • Assist in signposting and referring young people to other universal, targeted, and specialist services where appropriate
  • Support with building duties which may include opening and closing buildings for session delivery and undertaking relevant health and safety tasks
