Moy Park is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for providing effective engineering services and responding to demands in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive engineering support to the production team to ensure equipment is maintained and factory performance meets targets.
  • Identify and implement improvements to equipment availability and performance to meet OEE targets.
  • Use the PPM System (SAP) to capture all engineering labour and parts.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure smooth operations and meet KPIs.
Requirements
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Qualifications recognized in the UK.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing operations.
  • Literacy and numeracy to National Level 2 Standard.
  • Ability to deliver quality and accuracy in work and standards.
  • Ability to cope under pressure and flex with peaks in workload.
  • Ability to anticipate and identify problems and provide effective solutions.
  • Personal and interpersonal skills.
  • Good standard of written and spoken English.
  • Desirable: experience in food processing industry, poultry processing machinery, welding, lean techniques, and automated machinery.
