Global Chief Technology Officer Opportunity

Blair West is seeking a visionary Global Chief Technology Officer to lead the technology strategy and execution of our B2B SaaS business. As a key member of our leadership team, you will drive innovation, oversee the evolution, deployment, and maintenance of our software solutions, and shape the future of our business as we embark on global expansion.

The Opportunity
  • Redesign and modernize our architecture to support rapid-scaling in customer usage and new product developments.
  • Lead improvements to the SDLC by adopting best practices, increasing automation, and ensuring high-quality code via robust testing frameworks.
  • Evolving team structure to support accelerated growth and scalability, and enhancing team capabilities by hiring, training, and skills development programs.
  • Leading technological initiatives to support entry into new markets internationally, overseeing the development of new product lines tailored to specific regional needs and regulatory frameworks.
  • Integrating acquired technologies and platforms seamlessly into our existing infrastructure, ensuring that acquired systems are optimized for performance, security, and compliance.
Your Skills and Experience
  • At least 5 years' experience as CTO (or equivalent) leading high-performing technology teams, with a proven track record in fast-paced PE/VC-backed business environments.
  • A background in Software Engineering or Architecture.
  • The ability to develop and execute a technology strategy that supports growth and innovation.
  • Strong analytical skills to address complex technical and business challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency using JavaScript for developing business logic and frontend development, strong experience with MS SQL Server and cloud platforms (Azure), knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
  • Experience with modern cloud services and architectural patterns, as well as architecture redesign for scaling, and a record of delivering SDLC improvement and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
  • Experience in financial services or legal tech industries would be helpful, previous work in B2B SaaS environments would be a strong advantage.
  • A bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
