About the Role

We are seeking an experienced R&D Tax Manager to join our team at KPMG-UnitedKingdom. As a key member of our Incentives, Reliefs & Innovations team, you will be responsible for delivering expert advice to clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop technical approaches and deliver R&D tax relief claims for submission to HMRC.
- Lead/co-lead meetings with senior technical and financial client stakeholders, providing expert advice on innovation advisory services.
- Write accurate and substantive technical project reports to support R&D tax claims for clients' R&D projects.
- Prepare and manage the process for preparing technical and financial elements of client deliverables.

Requirements

- Honours/Post Graduate Degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
- Significant industry experience in a field of science/technology or a detailed working knowledge of R&D tax legislation and its application to science/engineering activities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and communication skills to assist clients in applying complex legislation to real-life situations.
