We are seeking a seasoned Credit Risk Specialist to join our Cross Markets Team in London, where you will play a pivotal role in underwriting the credit risk of our Structured Notes issuer platform. As part of Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM), your expertise will help us deliver comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families.

About the Role:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our current and prospective Structured Note issuers and associated credit risks.
  • Collaborate with Private Wealth Advisors to support PWM clients in credit product discussions, providing tailored solutions that meet their investment objectives.
  • Present investment ideas and opportunities to PWM sales teams, showcasing your expertise in structured credit.
  • Liaise with Compliance, Legal, and Management counterparts on various projects, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Contribute to a well-established team of Product Specialists, Portfolio Managers, and Investment Advisors, driving growth through shared knowledge and best practices.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience as a credit analyst, with expertise in Financials and structured credit.
  • A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, accompanied by an excellent academic record.
  • A strong interest in global financial markets and derivative instruments.
  • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills, allowing you to balance multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
