Psychiatric Liaison Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Liaison Nurse to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize your clinical expertise to assess and manage patients with complex mental health needs, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans, promoting patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Provide education and training to colleagues and patients, promoting knowledge and skills in mental health care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current registration and a strong track record of experience in psychiatric liaison nursing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement.
- Postgraduate qualification in mental health nursing or a related field (desirable).
