Housekeeping Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced cleaner to join our team at Battyeford CE Primary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in our school premises.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Undertake a range of cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
2. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of the school, including classrooms, corridors, and toilets.
3. Report any maintenance or repair issues to the relevant authorities.
4. Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning targets.
5. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and protocols.

Requirements:

1. A suitable standard of numeracy and literacy.
2. Experience of undertaking a range of cleaning duties.
3. Knowledge of cleaning best practices and the ability to follow instructions.
4. Approachable and able to communicate effectively.
5. Good organisational skills.
6. Confident and highly motivated.
7. Flexible and able to work on own initiative.
8. Honest and act with integrity, be trustworthy and understand the need for confidentiality.
9. Embrace and support the school's ethos and values.
