Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced cleaner to join our team at Battyeford CE Primary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in our school premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake a range of cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of the school, including classrooms, corridors, and toilets.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the relevant authorities.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning targets.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and protocols.
Requirements:
- A suitable standard of numeracy and literacy.
- Experience of undertaking a range of cleaning duties.
- Knowledge of cleaning best practices and the ability to follow instructions.
- Approachable and able to communicate effectively.
- Good organisational skills.
- Confident and highly motivated.
- Flexible and able to work on own initiative.
- Honest and act with integrity, be trustworthy and understand the need for confidentiality.
- Embrace and support the school's ethos and values.
