The Project

Mace is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide project management, commercial management, and programme management resources and services to a defence infrastructure organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supporting programme development in producing early budgetary estimates.
  2. Developing effective business relationships with stakeholders to ensure adoption of functional quantity surveying best practice in delivering portfolios.
  3. Providing functional quantity surveying expertise and support to the wider programme delivery businesses.
  4. Undertaking contract compliance audits.
  5. Supporting the commercial function in evaluating and negotiating tenders, contract changes, and compensation events.
  6. Acting as contract-specific quantity surveying functional expert in all aspects of price validation and agreement, including dispute resolution.
Requirements:

RICS membership or equivalent, with substantial years of experience using NEC forms of contract. A construction or project management background is essential, along with a hunger to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
