Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team based in North Wales. As a key member of the project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing site activities and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard within the water and wastewater industries across the UK.
Responsibilities:
• Manage site activities, collaborating closely with contract delivery teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Conduct detailed site surveys and assessments to identify potential issues, ensuring all technical drawings are accurate and up-to-date.
• Prepare and evaluate submissions for project claims, such as Compensation Events (CEs), supporting client, designer, and internal mechanical design reviews.
• Maintain quality assurance (QA) records as required, ensuring all method statements and risk assessments are in place and appropriate before work commences.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the water and wastewater industries, with a proven track record of delivering projects safely and efficiently, meeting quality, time, and financial targets. Strong skills in developing client relationships and building effective teams are essential, along with a time-served mechanical engineering background and relevant qualification, such as City & Guilds, ONC, HNC, or a BEng in Mechanical Engineering.
Salary:
The salary for this role is £48,000-£58,000 per annum, reflecting the company's commitment to rewarding skilled professionals like yourself.
