About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lifting Equipment Specialist to join our team in the West Midlands area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our lifting equipment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical or hire inspection and hold relevant qualifications such as the LEEA Lifting Accessories Diploma and Manual Lifting Machines Diploma. Experience with Inspection of PPE Certificate, Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), and Ladder Inspection would also be beneficial.

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 per annum, with a competitive bonus scheme and pension plan. You will also receive paid overtime and 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.

This role would suit someone living in the West Midlands area, with working hours from 08:00 to 17:00 and expected paid overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out periodic examinations of lifting equipment and accessories in accordance with statutory regulations.
  2. Help maintain a large inventory of hire equipment.
  3. Be actively involved in stock control, data entries, and other processes as required.
  4. Work closely with hire controllers and branch managers to ensure inventory is correctly processed and stored.
