About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operating Officer to join our team at Primary Care Careers. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of our dental enterprise.

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our overall strategy and business plan, ensuring alignment with our mission and values.
  • Work closely with our board and key stakeholders to develop an integrated strategy that drives operational excellence and financial sustainability.
  • Lead the development and implementation of robust performance management arrangements, ensuring effective reporting and management of service performance.
  • Actively participate in board meetings, preparing reports and presentations to highlight performance and facilitate sound decision-making.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders, providing information, advice, and guidance to support the strategic needs of the business.

About Us

We are a new and innovative dental social enterprise, partnering with the University of Suffolk and Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board to deliver accessible NHS dental care. Our mission is to deliver ordinary dental care with extraordinary care.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Education to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Postgraduate qualification in a management discipline or equivalent experience.

Desirable

  • Experience of producing and analysing healthcare data, delivering clinical activity and quality assurance reports.
  • Proven understanding of budget setting and experience of delivering healthcare-business objectives within tight budgets.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders.
