About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our team at Bridges Electrical Engineers. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects in the water industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise mechanical installations to ensure they meet the highest standards.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with our STAR dynamic risk assessment.
  • Coach and mentor Mechanical Fitters, Mates, and Apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Promote and demonstrate the Bridges' values when interacting with colleagues, staff, customers, and clients.
  • Promote positive health and wellbeing among team members.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in the water industry.
  • Experience in industrial civils sites, including reactive type work.
  • SSSTS / SMSTS certification.
  • Appropriate City & Guilds trade qualification.
  • CSCS & CCNSG certification.
  • Fitness to work medical.
Desirable Qualifications
  • PASMA certification.
  • IPAF certification.
  • Confined space authorization.
  • Authorization to Pressure Test (Bridges).
  • Emergency first aid or First Aider certification.
  • EUSR & Thames Water Passport.
