Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Theatre Scrub Nurse to join our team at Cromwell Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and supporting our surgical teams.

About the Role

This theatre scrub nurse position involves working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional perioperative care to patients. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating patient care, as well as participating in the supervision of junior grades and non-registered staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing patients' needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Participating in theatre operations, including preparation and positioning of patients
  • Supervising and guiding junior staff members
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient care
  • Contributing to a safe and efficient working environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A nursing qualification (RN) and/or relevant experience
  • Proven perioperative experience as a theatre scrub nurse
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
