The Acorn Environmental Management Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced GIS Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our consultancy services, you will be responsible for managing and delivering projects to our clients, ensuring that all operations meet their individual objectives and contract specific objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial management of contracts, overseen by the Consultancy Manager
  • Delivery of consultancy services to clients, meeting contract requirements
  • Collaboration with colleagues to achieve project objectives
  • Development and maintenance of geospatial data and software
  • Excellent understanding of tree management software and GIS
  • Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Software Systems
  • Thorough knowledge of BS 5837:2012 and ability to advise on likely impacts of development on trees

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years experience in consultancy services
  • Four years experience for the Senior role
  • LANTRA Professional Tree Inspector certification
  • Desire and passion to deliver services to an excellent standard
  • Good project management and organisation skills
