Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Neighbourhood Manager to join our team. As a key member of our housing services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our lettings and void management processes.
Key Responsibilities- To monitor vacant dwellings on schemes/estates and ensure properties are inspected and re-let in a timely manner, adhering to our lettings and void management policies.
- To provide advice and assistance to residents on housing matters, including information on legal rights, responsibilities, and welfare concerns.
- To serve as the primary point of contact for housing management services on a patch, enforcing the Association's conditions of tenancy, particularly regarding property condition and garden maintenance.
- To collaborate with colleagues and agencies to resolve customer problems, such as complaints, rent arrears, anti-social behaviour, or repair requests.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A full UK driver's licence and access to a car, as this role involves field-based work.
- Experience and knowledge of housing/lettings or social housing.
- An annual pay scale increase.
- 27 days holiday (rising to 32 over 5 years' service) + bank holidays.
- A flexible hybrid working arrangement.
- 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with occasional evening or weekend work depending on business needs.
