Business Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join HFG, a leading Insurance firm. The ideal candidate will drive all aspects of change projects, involving and liaising with the business and IT teams.

The successful candidate will be a single point of contact for these services, interacting with senior-level business stakeholders to help with business process change and design. They will also maintain a high-quality support service to these stakeholders.

The role involves driving the design and solutions of application components as part of run and build projects, as well as coordinating and overseeing the work of developer and testing resources on multiple projects.

Key Requirements
  • Business Analysis in the Insurance sector: Preferably London market / Commercial Insurance experience is required.
  • Policy and Claims Admin solutions: Exposure to Policy and Claims Admin solutions is essential.
  • IT Project Lifecycle: Experience of the full IT project lifecycle: project initiation through to implementation is necessary.
  • Analytical, Planning, and Organisational skills: Excellent analytical, planning, and organisational skills are required.
  • Strategic thinking: A strategic thinker who can apply sound judgement to arrive at effective decisions is needed.
  • Communication and Interpersonal skills: Good people skills and a flexible approach when dealing with business users and project team individuals are essential.
  • Numeracy skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including high numeracy skills, are required.

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum depending on experience.
