Job Summary

Norwood Ravenswood is seeking an exceptional Director of Philanthropy to lead our fundraising efforts and drive growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic leader with a passion for the Jewish community to join our Senior Leadership Team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced fundraiser with a proven track record of securing high levels of income and leading multi-disciplinary teams. You will be responsible for developing and implementing ambitious fundraising strategies, collaborating with our Marketing and Communications directorate to ensure effective strategies are in place to support fundraising activities, and working closely with stakeholders to cultivate trusting relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new and ambitious fundraising strategies to drive long-term income growth
  • Lead the fundraising directorate, associated campaigns, events, data, and databases to cultivate a positive culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, high performance, and engagement
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Communications directorate to develop effective strategies to support fundraising activities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build trusting relationships and secure high levels of income

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing fundraising strategies at senior leadership level that have achieved growth
  • Track record of securing high levels of income and leading multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience of working in a challenging, complex, and changing environment
  • Deep knowledge of the Jewish community and ability to work across its different denominations

Benefits

  • A competitive salary: £90,000 - £100,000 per annum commensurate with experience
