Nurse Leadership Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse to join our Beaconsfield East Ward as a Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in elderly care and be able to provide high standards of care to our patients.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in an elderly care setting and be able to assess care needs, develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities will include teaching and supervising qualified and unqualified staff, acting as a role model to junior staff, and undertaking performance management as required. The successful candidate will also be responsible for taking charge of a group of patients and the whole department/unit/ward for the duration of the shift.

- Teach and supervise qualified and unqualified staff
- Take charge of a group of patients and the whole department/unit/ward
- Ensure that research-based nursing care is of a high standard
- Maintain individual patient care plans and evaluate and update them as necessary
- 1st Level NMC Registered Nurse
- Understanding of contemporary nursing issues
- Evidence of CPD
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to deputise for the ward manager
