The Highland Council seeks a skilled Social Worker to provide high-quality services to children, families, and carers in Inverness.

About the Role

This permanent position involves working collaboratively with other professionals to deliver essential social work services. You will be expected to travel regularly within Highland to meet the needs of the Service.

Your Responsibilities

  1. ">
  2. Deliver a Social Work Service to children, families, and other carers, including services to looked after children and those on the Child Protection Register.">
  3. Work as a member of a local Family Team, in the context of the Highland Practice Model.">
  4. Travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council on the 'Social
    Worker' part of the Register.">
  • A qualification that is recognised by the SSSC as being equivalent to the Diploma in Social Work (DipSW).">
  • The ability to travel efficiently and effectively within Highland.">

Salary and Benefits

">
