Sensory Support Coordinator Role:

We are seeking a skilled Sensory Support Coordinator to join our dedicated team at NFP People, a growing charity that provides specialist services for individuals with sensory loss in the Perth and Kinross area.

About the Role:

In this key position, you will be working closely with clients, their families, and other service providers to ensure holistic support and access to vital resources. Your expertise will be essential in providing direct assistance and coordinating services to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with sensory loss, hearing loss, or sight loss, and advocate for their needs.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and service providers to deliver comprehensive support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders to ensure effective care and support.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with people with disabilities, sensory loss, or older people.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • A positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients from diverse backgrounds.
