Job Description

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and other members of support staff to ensure that pupils receive the care required to cater for their unique needs. This includes developing and implementing strategies to promote positive behaviour and learning outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons
  • Provide individualized support to pupils to help them meet their educational and personal goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized teaching assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) or a degree in education or transferable skills
  • Experience working with children and young people
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to defuse challenging situations
