Food Preparation Operative

Greencore Group is a leading manufacturer of convenience foods in the UK. We supply a wide range of products to major retailers, including sandwiches, wraps, and other food items.
Job Title: Food Preparation OperativeWe are currently seeking a Food Preparation Operative to join our team at our Manton Wood site in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. As a Food Preparation Operative, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients and food items to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Receiving and preparing ingredients for production
- Operating machinery and equipment to prepare food items
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas
- Completing traceability paperwork and recording batch codes and use-by dates
- Booking stock on the Aurora system
- Reporting any issues with equipment to the coordinator or manager
- Able to read and write in English
- Ability to work as part of a team to complete orders
- Basic level of maths required (weighing amounts in KGs, booking amounts on computer)
- Great attention to detail (completing traceability paperwork, important to be accurate)
- Diligent and punctual
- Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members
