We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Home Health Support Worker at The Donnington Bupa Care Home in Newbury, Berkshire.

Job Summary:

  • To provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents with a wide range of needs, including clinical, social, and emotional support.
  • To work collaboratively with the nursing team to monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and personal care.
  2. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, engaging them in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
  3. Participate in resident assessments, contributing to the development of care plans that meet individual needs.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
