Job Title: Graduate Process Safety Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Graduate Process Safety Engineer to join our team. As a Process Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our chemical manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments and provide expertise on PSM risk assessments, including HAZOP, LOPA, MOC, ATEX/DSEAR, and OBRA.
  • Lead and support other members of the SHE team in carrying out assessments and drive action completion following assessments.
  • Carry out basic consequence analysis using e.g., consequence analysis and provide full basis of support package for any new major accident scenarios identified.
  • Drive risk assessment reviews at the required frequency and coach other chemical engineers in the assessment methodologies.
  • Oversee and check the application of PSM elements during project design and development and provide technical support for incident investigations.

Requirements:

To be successful in this position, you will need a minimum of 5+ years' experience working in a similar PSE role ideally within chemical manufacturing operations. You will also need to be able to provide technical support for incident investigations and drive risk assessment reviews at the required frequency.
