Hiring for a skilled Gardener to join our team at Hotel Tresanton Limited. This luxury hotel is situated on the picturesque southern coast of Cornwall, in the charming fishing village of St Mawes.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced horticulturist with a passion for tropical planting and a keen interest in rare and unusual gardens and plants. The ideal candidate will have a high level of experience in planting gardens and gardening, with a horticultural qualification desirable. You will be responsible for enhancing this stunning garden, working in a truly beautiful environment. Key responsibilities include maintaining the garden's aesthetic appeal, ensuring areas around the garden are swept and tidy, and liaising with suppliers for plant and maintenance supplies while managing a budget.

Required Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in horticulture or related field preferred. Proven experience in gardening and groundskeeping, including tropical planting and garden design. Ability to work alone, manage time effectively, and maintain a safe working environment. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
