This role requires a visible health, safety & wellbeing (HSW) leader who can provide direction and guidance. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage HSW initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with senior leaders to achieve cost-effective and efficient performance.
- Support the implementation of HSW policies, procedures, guidance notes, and standards.
- Conduct audits and inspections on behalf of the business and assist with resolving non-conformities raised in third-party audits.
- Analyse audit results, corrective actions, and KPIs to identify gaps for continuous improvement.
- Provide performance management, technical development, and coaching.
- Work collaboratively towards net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.
- Risk management and mitigation.
- Proven experience leading and managing HSW, achieving results.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Experience in assisting policy and standards development.
- Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Undertake technical assurance reviews of client contractor deliverables/artefacts at progressive technical assurance reviews and gateway review meetings.
- Comfortable with hybrid working and occasional travel (clean driving licence).
