About the Role

This role requires a visible health, safety & wellbeing (HSW) leader who can provide direction and guidance. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage HSW initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with senior leaders to achieve cost-effective and efficient performance.
  2. Support the implementation of HSW policies, procedures, guidance notes, and standards.
  3. Conduct audits and inspections on behalf of the business and assist with resolving non-conformities raised in third-party audits.
  4. Analyse audit results, corrective actions, and KPIs to identify gaps for continuous improvement.
  5. Provide performance management, technical development, and coaching.
  6. Work collaboratively towards net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.
  7. Risk management and mitigation.
  8. Proven experience leading and managing HSW, achieving results.
  9. Evidence of continuous professional development.
  10. Experience in assisting policy and standards development.
  11. Degree or equivalent work experience.
  12. Undertake technical assurance reviews of client contractor deliverables/artefacts at progressive technical assurance reviews and gateway review meetings.
  13. Comfortable with hybrid working and occasional travel (clean driving licence).
