Position Summary

The Distributed AI group in SAIC Cambridge is seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to collaborate with research scientists and engineers on cutting-edge research and real-world applications in vision and language.

Role and Responsibilities

As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the design and development of embedded and distributed machine learning systems, working closely with researchers to implement and extend research ideas and prototypes.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of system design and architecture, with experience in ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) and efficient ML techniques.
  • Experience with deployment on embedded and mobile devices, as well as distributed and multi-GPU training at scale.
  • Fluency in Python, C/C++, and GNU Linux, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
