Electrical Equipment Technician

As an Electrical Equipment Technician, you will be working for a renowned healthcare company based in West Surrey/East Berkshire. The role involves maintenance, compliance testing, and installation of their full product range across various customer sites.
You will carry out complex fault-finding skills, specifically in electro-mechanical equipment. This position requires sound knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
The estimated salary for this position is around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to the salary, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package including uncapped overtime, paid door-to-door travel, a company van, and private medical insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of capital equipment which requires water and waste services across NHS and private hospitals, care homes, and hospices
- Commissioning work
- Service & validation of equipment
- Preventative maintenance and breakdown cover
Requirements:
- UK Driving License
- Electrical/Mechanical/Motors/Pumps/Plumbing experience
- Strong Fault-finding & diagnostic skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work on your own initiative
- Experience on product - desirable
- Qualification in HTM2030 - desirable
Successful candidates will undergo enhanced DBS background checks to be eligible to work within the sectors they provide support to.
