About the Role:

GCS is seeking a highly skilled Third Party Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of various third-party risk management consulting engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Support Consulting Engagements: Lead and support the delivery of a variety of third-party risk management consulting engagements, including current state assessments, gap analysis, and reporting.
  • Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Build and maintain key client relationships with stakeholders up to C-suite level, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Design and Deliver Risk Management Frameworks: Design and deliver comprehensive third-party risk management frameworks and associated solutions, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and standards.
  • Manage Remediation Programs: Manage third-party risk remediation programs and projects, ensuring timely and effective resolution of risk issues.
  • Build Business Pipeline: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline of potential clients and projects.

Team Objectives:

  • Coach and Guide Junior Colleagues: Provide coaching and guidance to junior colleagues, contributing to their professional development and growth.
  • Lead Small Teams: Lead small teams of consultants, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Participate in Internal Processes: Participate in internal processes, such as recruitment activities, to support the growth and development of the team.

Key Skills and Experience:

A minimum of 6 years' experience working in third-party risk management disciplines, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.

  • Experience in Third-Party Risk Management: Experience of supporting a third-party risk management function in a fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of outsourcing and third-party risk regulations.
  • Extensive Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of third-party risk management lifecycle, assessment lifecycle, and industry-standard tools and techniques.
  • Practical Experience: Practical experience of designing and implementing third-party risk management frameworks and solutions, with a strong ability to address risk using standardized and consistent methodologies.
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong customer-facing verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex risk management concepts effectively.

Desirable Skills:

  • Industry Standard Tools and Techniques: Knowledge and experience utilizing industry-standard tools, techniques, and systems, with a strong ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Consultancy Background: A consultancy background is not required, but a desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a range of clients is essential.
